In the medicinal field, storage of samples for further research and diagnoses of diseases amongst animals, people, plants etc, are most common. These samples may be in the form of blood samples, specimens, body fluids, Serums, slides, tissue, forensic samples and many more. In the recent years, the term that is gaining prominence in this sample storage method is biobanking. It refers to a form of research warehouse whose major component consists of a collection of biological and clinical samples taken from different kinds of individuals and animal species.
